MARY LYON, PT, DPT, NCS
Physical Therapist
Mary is a Neurological Clinical Specialist (NCS), with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and Bachelors in Psychology from Indiana University. Her passion for neurological rehabilitation began in physical therapy school with involvement in community experiences working with individuals with spinal cord injuries. She previously worked at Frazier Rehabilitation Institute and Neuroscience Center, primarily on the brain injury team, seeing a variety of neurological diagnoses and other orthopedic and cardiopulmonary conditions. These experiences strengthened her passion for neurological rehabilitation, holistic patient care, and supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey.
Mary is a certified Clinical Instructor and has completed additional training with a Coma Recovery Scale Training course and with the American Spinal Injury Association.
Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending time with her family and friends, relaxing with her new cat Ophelia, and staying active with tennis, running, listening to music, or crafting.
