Occupational Therapist
Allyssa earned her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Indianapolis. Over the course of her OT career, she has developed a passion for helping people with neurological impairments. She holds a specialty certification in assistive technology to incorporate advanced and individualized solutions into practice. Prior to joining NeuroHope to develop a Seating and Positioning Clinic (Wheelchair Clinic), Allyssa worked in inpatient acute and outpatient rehabilitation for 20 years. She has significant practice experience with spinal cord injury, assistive technology, spasticity management, environmental adaptation, and adaptive sports.
Allyssa and her husband have two children. Their family enjoys traveling, tennis, competitive cheer and yoga.
